This high-level Summit fosters unparalleled networking opportunities, facilitating meetings between U.S. and African private sector executives, government representatives, investors, and entrepreneurs. Over 30 years, the Summit has become a crucible for forging partnerships, exploring new business avenues, and shaping policies that promote robust U.S.-Africa trade and investment relationships. Historically attracting an average of 2,500+ attendees from 40 countries, including over 50 Heads of State since its inception, the Summit is a testament to the dynamic and evolving U.S.-Africa economic landscape.

The 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit, hosted in Luanda, Angola by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), convened a record-breaking gathering of stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic to forge new pathways to prosperity. Held in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Angola, the four-day Summit reaffirmed the central role of the private sector in driving forward U.S.-Africa economic ties, bringing together nearly 2,800 participants from 85 countries.
With over 230 speakers, 31 country delegations, 41 Ministers, 400+ African and U.S. officials, CEOs and senior executives of U.S. and African private sector, the Summit created a dynamic platform for high-level dialogue, investment matchmaking, and policy innovation across sectors critical to Africa’s development and U.S. commercial engagement on the continent.
Unprecedented High-Level Participation
This year’s Summit featured 12 African Heads of State and Government, including six Presidents, three Prime Ministers, and one Deputy Prime Minister.
The U.S. Government Delegation, led by Ambassador Troy Fitrell, Senior Bureau Official for African Affairs, included 75 U.S. officials.
Summit Outcomes: $4 Billion in Deals and Commitments
The 2025 Summit generated over $4 billion in business deals and investment commitments across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, digital transformation, healthcare, agribusiness, and tourism.

2026 U.S.-Africa Business Summit
The Government of Mauritius and the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) are pleased to announce that the 2026 U.S.-Africa Business Summit will take place from July 26–29, 2026, in Mauritius. The official dates were released today during a joint press conference hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and CCA in Port Louis, marking an important milestone as preparations begin for one of the continent’s premier platforms for strengthening U.S.-Africa trade, investment, and commercial partnerships.
Hosted for the first time in Mauritius, the Summit is expected to convene over 3,000 high-level U.S. and African government officials, private sector executives, investors, and multilateral stakeholders. The four-day gathering will feature plenaries, high-level dialogues, sector-focused sessions, B2B and B2G engagements, and networking events designed to catalyze new partnerships and deepen commercial ties.
