Yolanda Nosakhare

Director, Member Relations

Yolanda Nosakhare is an experienced international relations and policy professional with a background in foreign affairs, ICT, and cross-sector collaboration. She has worked with the Department of Defense, the State Department, and the FBI, coordinating engagements between U.S. agencies and foreign governments. Her work has included managing interagency collaborations and providing strategic insights on international security and diplomatic agreements.

 

As the Director of Member Relations at the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), Yolanda leads membership engagement, growth, and strategic partnerships, ensuring that CCA continues to be the premier platform for fostering U.S.-Africa business relations. Her focus is on deepening engagement with current members, attracting new companies to CCA’s network, and enhancing the value proposition for stakeholders across key industries. She is implementing a relationship-driven strategy that prioritizes tailored member experiences, exclusive networking opportunities, and thought leadership initiatives to maximize the benefits of CCA membership.

 

Previously, as a Foreign Service Specialist with the U.S. Department of State, Yolanda served at U.S. embassies in Guatemala and South Africa, leading diplomatic initiatives, crisis response operations, and international partnerships. A first-generation Nigerian American, she is passionate about unlocking Africa’s economic potential and fostering sustainable partnerships that drive investment, innovation, and long-term development.

 

She holds a Master of Public Policy with a specialization in International Development from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Loyola Marymount University. With a deep understanding of global engagement and relationship-building, Yolanda is dedicated to bridging connections that transform business potential into lasting impact for CCA’s members.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys singing and writing music, experimenting with new recipes, and immersing herself in different cultures—whether by exploring local markets, sharing a meal with locals, or uncovering the unique rhythms of a city through its people and traditions.
