CCA Kicks Off the Trade Mission to Sudan

On Monday, December 4, 2017, CCA kicked off the Trade Mission to Sudan. The mission was preceded by a press conference at Khartoum International Airport on the previous day, with remarks from CCA President and CEO Florie Liser, and Eng. Tariq Hamza, CEO of Sudatel Telecom Group.Florizelle Liser, CCA President & CEO and Eng. Delegates were then treated to a networking lunch hosted by Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Mubarak Al-Fadil Al-Mahdi and H.E. Osama Faisal, State Minister of Investment.Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Mubarak Al-Fadil Al-Mahdi.Admassu Tadesse, President and CEO, TDB, regional sponsor of the trade mission, revealed the new logo of his financial institution and reiterated the commitment of his institution to finance projects in Sudan, especially in the Agriculture sector.Cross section of delegates and government officials at the forumDelegates then met with several Ministers from the Government of Sudan to explore investment and trade opportunities across a variety of sectors including finance, agriculture and forestry, petroleum and gas, water resources, irrigation and electricity, roads, transportation and bridges, education, health, mining, ICT and telecoms.The first day of the trade mission was concluded with a networking dinner hosted by Sudatel Telecom Group, principal sponsors of the trade mission.
