H.E. William Ruto’s Historic State Visit to the United States

In May 2024, we witnessed Kenyan President William Ruto’s historic state visit to Atlanta and Washington, during which several significant agreements were signed, including those on commercial and investment partnerships, healthcare manufacturing, energy, technology, and security—areas that are important to CCA members. The visit underscored the strong partnership between Kenya and the U.S. On behalf of CCA, I was pleased to participate in a number of events and meetings in both Atlanta and Washington, and I can attest to the visit’s emphasis on strengthening the robust relationship. As Kenya is a priority country for CCA, we are working on follow-up on programs to advance the interests of our members and the U.S.-Kenya trade, investment and business relationship. As part of this effort, CCA will be hosting a delegation of Kenyan governors in Washington for further discussions and engagements.
